The final day of UJ Rag started semi subdued due to nothing other than - you guesed it - the weather! For as Murphy’s Law would have it, the rain started to pour down half way through our rigging of the stage. Its really quite a sight seeing half the Blue Array crew frantically running around, getting soaked to the bone and trying to cover the PA with anything water-proof that they could lay thier hands on.

Eventually and to everyone’s relief, the rain did die down and the show could carry on, albeit an hour late. The awesome line-up for the evening was: BLK JKS, Evolver, Love Jones, Prime Circle, Wonderboom, Karma and The Parlotones.

Each band provided a brilliant and unique performance, such as Love Jones’ choreographed fighting scenes and the lead singer of The Parlotones’ wacky dance moves, which more than once had the crowd of about a thousand screaming for more.

Unfortunately, as they say, all good things must come to an end and at around half one that's what happened when the last band left the stage. This also inevitably meant that our DREADED work had begun… yes, striking! Yet we did all manage to survive (some with a bit more trouble than others) to see us rig another day.
